Service Engineer Vacancy

Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Service Engineer to join our busy service department.

 

Main Purpose of the Role:

To travel across the UK & Ireland (occasionally overseas) to diagnose, service, repair and overhaul a range of equipment mainly for the agricultural & recycling industries. The role will also involve servicing work on site when machines are brought in for PDI checks, servicing & repairs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnosis, repairs and services on a range of agricultural and recycling equipment, predominately potato harvesters but will also include work on other agricultural machinery

• Participate in dealer training as required to maintain knowledge of machinery and processes

• Test and verify correct operation after all repairs and adjustments

• Provide advice to customers in relation to operation, best practices for maintenance etc

• Communicate with the Service Manager effectively to ensure best service is given to customers

 

Attributes:

• Extensive knowledge of hydraulics and electrics essential

• Ideally will have worked on agricultural machines, if not other heavy plant machinery

• Must have a keen interest in agricultural machinery

• Experience with harvesting machinery an advantage

• Full driving licence essential

 

Overtime available, good rates of pay + bonus scheme, company vehicle & mobile phone.
